Bavarian Bank Fund

An additional financing instrument was established in 2000 with the BavarianBankFund (BBF), in which four financial institutions cooperate: Bayerische Landesbank, LfA Förderbank Bayern, UniCredit Bank AG and Bankhaus Reuschel & Co. Since then and with a financial volume of € 10 million for the production and distribution of feature-length films, a larger financial volume, coupled with FFF funding monies, is available for the media location of Bavaria.

Upon recommendation by FFF Bayern, films expecting considerable economic success may apply for additional funds from the BavarianBankFund. This form of financing is disbursed as a conditionally repayable loan, to which interest is applied. The loan is made by the LfA Förderbank. The requested financing can be up to 100% of the already issued FFF funding for the project. The maximum production funding amount is EUR 1 million. The maximum distribution funding amount is EUR 200,000.
