As part of the Hof International Film Festival, the Film Commission invited guests on a location tour to Mödlareuth. The formerly divided village, also known as "Little Berlin", stands for German-German history like no other place: divided by the Wall and barbed wire.

For filmmakers, Mödlareuth is an authentic location that uniquely combines history, emotion and atmosphere. During the location tour, participants learned about the cinematic possibilities offered by the Hof region and how historical locations can be translated into modern material. Together with national and international guests of the festival as well as network partners from the region, a “hidden gem” was discovered that is not only important for the culture of remembrance, but also as an inspiring backdrop for future film projects. At a get-together in the Galeriehaus, the Film Commission networked the participating filmmakers with regional network partners and motivators.
